Now more that 6,000 kilometres behind me. Tomorrow the big smoke; sin city; my old home-town, Sydney. In the meantime, here are some more observations from my meandering through rural New South Wales:

Haven’t had much time to post lately with working 12 hour days in the summer heat (40 degrees) and humidity of Broome, shooting publicity stills for the children’s television series, Castaway. But now looking forward to getting home to the cooler climes of Hobart and the family. This was taken last Wednesday, after the director called “It’s a wrap.” My 17 year old son who was along for work experience is on the extreme right of the shot still holding the clapper board he had been using a few minutes before. This morning at 4.45am I was scraping ice off the car windshield in wintry Hobart, Tasmania.
Tonight I am 3100km away luxuriating in the tropical warmth of a Broome evening after a 30 degree (C) day. It’s so good to be on the road again and great to be able to avoid almost a month of a Tasmanian winter. Working as stills photographer on the the Northway Productions childrens’ television series, Trapped.
